What the Catch With New China Global Inc? According to various disclosures, transactions of $7.5k, $10k, $20k, $30k, $60k and $140k have or will occur to mention New China Global Inc in various investment newsletters. Just this morning, New China Global Inc announced the expansion of language services to ten different language options (including Mandarin, German, Spanish, Japanese, French, Italian, Cantonese, Dutch, Russian and English) that will be available on the company website while last Wednesday, the company gave a corporate update that noted the recent hiring of a new Singapore based Marketing Director who is focused on a marketing campaign targeting Asian University students. The update noted that New China Global continues talks to develop partnerships with several high profile Universities in China and is in discussions to build partnerships with Universities in Tokyo and Singapore as part of a Corporate Strategic Plan. A couple of small cap research firms have also announced coverage of the stock. However, a look at the most recent financials for New China Global Inc reveals not much of an income statement or balance sheet meaning it must be another reverse merger or was previously just a shell company. So until some financials appear, its investor beware.

In February 2013, it acquired the operating business and certain patent properties of MIPS Technologies, Inc. Advisors' Opinion:
  • [By Ashraf Eassa]

However, I expect that Intel is at risk of having a significant marketing problem trying to sell a dual core product into a world of quad core phones, even if the dual core part delivers better performance/watt. I further expect that from what is currently known about Bay Trail's GPU (4 EU Gen7 GPU), it is unlikely that -- unless Intel is either using Imagination's (IGNMF.PK) next generation PowerVR 6 or a beefed up Gen7 design for the "Merrifield" SoC -- it will be as competitive with the Snapdragon 800 on the GPU side of things, which could pose as an additional headwind to adoption. I also believe that the Q1 2014 launch curtails any hope that there will be a 14nm smartphone product launched in 2014 (although Mr. Krzanich's comments about "acceleration" could be a source of optimism here), which means that the company's process lead could ultimately prove to be ephemeral in this particular end market. Fortunately, product cycles in! this space are sho rt, so it may be okay to have Merrifield be reasonably short lived.

Top Construction Companies To Own For 2014

Employers posted more job openings in January despite cold and stormy weather, though hiring slowed slightly.

The number of job openings rose 1.5% to 3.9 million and was close to November's five-year high, the Labor Department said Tuesday.

Hiring dipped to 4.54 million from 4.58 million in December. While openings generally have returned to pre-recession levels, hiring is still lagging.

The number of available jobs and hiring held up fairly well in January despite a slowdown in job growth that some economists have partly attributed to unusually cold and stormy weather. The economy added just 129,000 jobs in January, turning in weak gains for the second straight month. Last week, the government said employers added 175,000 jobs in February.

Hiring picked up in professional and business services, construction and education and health. It fell in manufacturing, retail and trade, transportation and utilities.

Top 10 Paper Companies To Watch In Right Now: Massive Dynamics Inc (MSSD)

Massive Dynamics, Inc., incorporated on March 15, 2011, is a development-stage company. The Company is providing services to communication tower operators. On August 20, 2012, Kylemore Corp. (Kylemore) approximately 90% of the Company. On April 16, 2013, the Company entered into an Asset Purchase Agreement with Real-View 3D (RV3D). With the Company's acquisition of the assets of RV3D, the Company is providing engineering and compliance to communications tower operators to three dimension (3D) imaging. RV3D is an image capture product company that has developed and is committed to design, patent, manufacture and market 3D imaging Z-axis capture products for the consumer computer peripherals market.

The Company has developed technology around an imaging technology known as structured light, which allows for the rapid capture and processing of the digital signal capture 3D images of objects or real time 3D video of a desired target. A structured light image is a calibrated grid of lines that is projected on the subject. These projected lines deviate as they fall over the subject. An image of these lines is captured. Real View 3D software can extract Z-axis data from these line deviations and a topographical map is created. To image a complete subject, the subject is rotated 360 degrees for the image and then another 360 degree rotation for capturing the structured light for the Z axis map information. The resulting Z axis map and the image are then fused into a 360 degree renderable image. This image can then be exported into many other formats for viewing. The Company's primary business will be to develop and market 3D scanning, capture, rendering, and printing products to four markets: consumer, commercial, industrial, and medical.

Advisors' Opinion:
  • [By Rich Smith]

The problem with that, of course, is that competition is beginning to emerge in machine selling, as small companies with names such as ExOne (NASDAQ: XONE  ) and Massive Dynamics (NASDAQOTH: MSSD  ) begin to horn in on the printer biz. Competition will probably arise even faster in the selling of printing composites, as Hewlett-Packard discovered to its detriment, when printer ink cartridge "refillers" began stealing away its lucrative ink business.

The decliners keep greed in check while reminding us about the risks of the equity markets. Let's go over some of last week's best and worst performers. Pike (PIKE) -- Up 49 percent last week The market's biggest winner of last week was Pike, a specialty construction and engineering firm that received a bid to be taken private. J. Eric Pike -- the firm's chairman and CEO -- is teaming up with private equity firm Court Square Capital Partners to buy out shareholders at $12 a share. It's a fair premium, pricing the buyout at a better than 50 percent premium to where the stock was trading when it was announced. A few attorneys are trying to smoke out investors who feel that the CEO-led privatization push isn't fair, but it's likely to stick at that kind of healthy markup. Pike shares may have traded in the low teens last summer, but that was before revenue and earnings began heading the wrong way. Most shareholders should be more than happy to take the money and run. RadNet (RDNT) -- Up 34 percent last week Operating a network of 251 facilities that perform outpatient diagnostic imaging services is looking good for RadNet. Evaluating Country Risk For International Investing

Many investors choose to place a portion of their portfolios in foreign securities. This decision involves an analysis of various mutual funds, exchange traded funds (ETFs), or stock and bond offerings. However, investors often neglect an important first step in the process of international investing. When done properly, the decision to invest overseas begins with determining the riskiness of the investment climate in the country under consideration. Country risk refers to the economic, political and business risks that are unique to a specific country, and that might result in unexpected investment losses. This article will examine the concept of country risk and how it can be analyzed by investors.

Economic and Political Risk
Two main risk sources need be considered when investing in a foreign country:
Economic risk: This risk refers to a country's ability to pay back its debts. A country with stable finances and a stronger economy should provide more reliable investments than a country with weaker finances or an unsound economy. Political risk: This risk refers to the political decisions made within a country that might result in an unanticipated loss to investors. While economic risk is often referred to as a country's ability to pay back its debts, political risk is sometimes referred to as the willingness of a country to pay debts or maintain a hospitable climate for outside investment. Even if a country's economy is strong, if the political climate is unfriendly (or becomes unfriendly) to outside investors, the country may not be a good candidate for investment. Measuring Economic and Political Risk
Just as corporations in the U.S. receive credit ratings to determine their ability to repay their debt, so do countries. In fact, virtually every investable country in the world receives ratings from Moody's, Standard & Poor's (S&P) or the other large rating agencies. A country with a higher credit rating is considered a safer investment than a country with a lower credit rating. Examining the credit ratings of a country is an excellent way to begin analyzing a potential investment.

Another important step in deciding on an investment is to examine a country's economic and financial fundamentals. Different analysts prefer different measures, but almost everyone looks at a country's gross domestic product (GDP), inflation and Consumer Price Index (CPI) readings when considering an investment. Investors will also want to carefully evaluate the structure of the country's financial markets, the availability of attractive investment alternatives and the recent performance of local stock and bond markets.

Sources of Information on Country Risk
There are many excellent sources of information on the economic and political climate of foreign countries. Newspapers, such as the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and the Financial Times dedicate significant coverage to overseas events. Many excellent weekly magazines also cover international economics and politics; the Economist is generally considered to be the standard bearer among weekly publications.

For those seeking more in-depth coverage of a particular country or region, two excellent sources of objective, comprehensive country information are the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) "World Factbook." Either of these resources provides an investor with a broad overview of the economic, political, demographic and social climate of a country. The EIU also provides ratings for most of the world's countries. These ratings can supplement those issued by Moody's, S&P and the other "traditional" ratings agencies.

Finally, the internet provides access to a host of information, including international editions of many foreign newspapers and magazines. Reviewing locally produced news sources can sometimes provide a different perspective on the attractiveness of a country under consideration for investment.

Developed, Emerging and Frontier Markets
When considering international investments, there are three types of markets from which to choose: Developed markets consist of the largest, most industrialized economies. Their economic systems are well developed, they are politically stable and the rule of law is well entrenched. Developed markets are usually considered the safest investment destinations, but their economic growth rates often trail those of countries in an earlier development stage. Investment analysis of developed markets usually concentrates on the current economic and market cycles; political considerations are often a less important consideration. Examples of developed markets include the U.S., Canada, France, Japan and Australia.
Emerging markets experience rapid industrialization and often demonstrate extremely high levels of economic growth. This strong economic growth can sometimes translate into investment returns that are superior to those available in developed markets. However, emerging markets are also riskier than developed markets; there is often more political uncertainty in emerging markets, and their economies may be more prone to excessive booms and busts. In addition to carefully evaluating an emerging market's economic and financial fundamentals, investors should pay close attention to the country's political climate and the potential for unexpected political developments. Many of the fastest-growing economies in the world, including China, India and Brazil, are considered emerging markets.
Frontier markets represent "the next wave" of investment destinations. These markets are generally either smaller than traditional emerging markets, or are found in countries that place restrictions on the ability of foreigners to invest. Although frontier markets can be exceptionally risky and often suffer from low liquidity, they also offer the potential for above-average returns over time. Frontier markets are also not well correlated with other more traditional investment destinations, which means that they provide additional diversification benefits when held in a well-rounded investment portfolio. As with emerging markets, investors in frontier markets must pay careful attention to the political environment, as well as to economic and financial developments. Examples of frontier markets include Nigeria, Botswana and Kuwait. Important Steps When Investing Overseas
Once country analysis has been completed, several investment decisions need to be made. The first choice is to decide where to invest, by choosing among several possible investment approaches, including:
Investing in a broad international portfolio Investing in a more limited portfolio focused on either emerging markets or developed markets Investing in a specific region, such as Europe or Latin America Investing only in a specific country(s) Remember that diversification, a fundamental principle of domestic investing, is even more important when investing internationally. Choosing to invest an entire portfolio in a single country is not prudent. In a broadly diversified global portfolio, investments should be allocated among developed, emerging and perhaps frontier markets. Even in a more concentrated portfolio, investments should be spread among several countries to maximize diversification and minimize risk.

After deciding where to invest, an investor must decide which investment vehicles to invest in. Investment options include sovereign debt, stocks or bonds of companies domiciled in the country(s) chosen, stocks or bonds of a U.S.-based company that derives a significant portion of its revenues from the country(s) selected, or an internationally focused ETF or mutual fund. The choice of investment vehicle depends on each investor's individual knowledge, experience, risk profile and return objectives. When in doubt, it may make sense to start out by taking less risk; more risk can always be added to the portfolio later.

In addition to thoroughly researching prospective investments, an international investor also needs to monitor his or her portfolio and adjust holdings as conditions dictate. As in the U.S., economic conditions overseas are constantly evolving, and political situations abroad can change quickly, particularly in emerging or frontier markets. Situations that once seemed promising may no longer be so, and countries that once seemed too risky might now be viable investment candidates.

Conclusion
Overseas investing involves a careful analysis of the economic, political and business risks that might result in unexpected investment losses. This country risk analysis is a fundamental step in building and monitoring an international portfolio. Investors that use the many excellent information sources available to evaluate country risk will be better prepared when constructing their international portfolios.

Short Sellers Have These 7 Well-Known Stocks In Their Sights

With the market rally showing no signs of cooling off, it has become quite risky to short stocks.

Indeed, many hedge fund managers that tend to make a living from short selling have moved to the sidelines, waiting for the market to switch direction before loading up on shorts. It's a wise move to preserve both your capital and your sanity.

Still, not all short sellers have abandoned ship, and some of them are making increasing bold bets. You may not want to follow their lead -- just yet -- but it's instructive to see which stocks they are targeting. If you own or are thinking of buying one of these stocks, the rising short interest should give you pause.

Here are seven stocks (and funds) seeing big changes in short interest in the two week-period that ended June 28. (Actual data were released on July 10.)

1. Pfizer (NYSE: PFE)
The short interest in this drugmaker surged a hefty 53%, to 336 million shares, making it the most heavily shorted stock on the New York Stock Exchange. Roughly a month ago, I noted that virtually every major drug stocks have rallied sharply in the past year.

But Pfizer was notably absent from the select few drugmakers that seemingly deserved such gains.

At the end of the quarter, short sellers often anticipate an imminent shortfall or weak guidance, though a quick review of the analyst reports following Pfizer reveals no such warning signs. Instead, it may be a concern that rivals are advancing with a key drug that threatens one of Pfizer's top sellers, or that one of Pfizer's own drugs in development is poised to deliver weak clinical results.

2. Cliffs Natural Resources (NYSE: CLF)
I've been noticing this iron ore miner appear on a number of recent screens that I have run, as it sports a range of impressive value metrics after falling two-thirds from its 52-week high. Short sellers think this stock has further to fall, as the short interest spiked 13% in just two weeks to 54.8 million shares. That accounts for 36% of the trading float, which is one of the highest percentages of any stock in the S&P 500.

The entire commodities complex is in a massive correction mode, and falling prices are leading to curtailed output. That will set the stage for an eventual upturn in commodities, but we're not there yet, and these short sellers likely think we haven't even hit bottom yet.

3. iShares FTSE China 25 Index ETF (NYSE: FXI)
Throughout the first half of 2013, the Chinese economy has shown signs of slowing.

Whether China's troubles are in fact deepening has become one of the biggest concerns for global investors, which have already been fleeing any emerging markets that have considerable exposure to China.

Short sellers, led by hedge fund manager Jim Chanos, appear to think China is on the cusp of a big economic downturn. The short interest in this exchange-traded fund (ETF) rose 13% sequentially, to 49 million shares, and is likely to rise further until the Chinese economic picture becomes clearer.

4. Utilities Select Sector SPDR (NYSE: XLU)
A number of electric utilities have seen a recent rise in their short interest, which is probably due to a recent spike in interest rates that is making the utilities' dividend yields a bit less attractive.

Short sellers are anticipating further rotation out of this group, boosting their short position in this ETF by 30% in just two weeks to 38.5 million shares.

5. Six Flags Entertainment (NYSE: SIX)
It's been a hot and muggy summer in the eastern half of the U.S., which has led many people to stay inside and bask in the air conditioning rather than venture outside. Might that be impacting attendance at this amusement park operator?

The short interest more than doubled in just two weeks to 6.4 million shares, which represents five days' worth of trading volume. That makes this a "crowded short" and would lead to a short squeeze if Six Flags delivers decent quarterly results on July 18.

6. Intel (Nasdaq: INTC)
Short sellers likely think weak PC sales will lead this chipmaker to miss forecasts when second-quarter results are released July 17. The consensus forecast anticipates profits of 39 cents a share on sales of $12.9 billion, and those numbers have not moved in two months, despite further signs of PC weakness.

If short sellers are right, and Intel misses the forecast, it could have negative ripple effects across the tech sector. Chip equipment makers, for example, are highly reliant on Intel, which remains the largest buyer of semiconductor capital equipment in the world. Intel's short interest rose by 6 million shares (to a hefty 235 million) in the two weeks ended June 28.

7. NetApp (Nasdaq: NTAP)
This provider of data storage equipment is also in the crosshairs of short sellers. The short interest spiked 27% sequentially to 43 million shares, which represents 12% of the trading float and seven days' worth of trading volume.

Hot Regional Bank Companies To Buy Right Now

This stock is near 52-week highs, thanks in part to the robust market rally, though signs are emerging that spending on data storage may cool in the second half. Lowered guidance may be the negative catalyst that short sellers are anticipating when quarterly results are released in mid-August.

Risks to Consider: As noted, it's risky to invest on the short side right now as a rising tide is lifting all boats. So do a substantial amount of research on any stock that you do intend to target for a short sale.

Action to Take --> Tracking short interest activity right in front of an earnings season can be quite fruitful as we can learn fairly quickly if short sellers were on the mark. Also, if earnings season proves to be disappointing, you can look to these stocks and funds for trading ideas on the short side.

P.S. -- With so much going on in the market, wouldn't it be great to find stocks good enough to buy, forget about and hold "Forever?" My colleague Elliott Gue and his staff recently went looking for the absolute best stocks on the market. After six months and $1.3 milllion worth of research, the team was successful. To learn more about the "Forever" stocks they uncovered -- including some names and ticker symbols -- click here.

Market Wrap-Up for Nov. 8 – A Lesson From Twitter

Yesterday, Twitter’s IPO made major headlines, with the stock locking in a stunning first-day gain of 73% above the listing price. For dividend investors, however, Twitter’s IPO was perhaps of no concern, considering the volatile nature of newly listed stocks. But looking at how the market priced the highflying social media company does provide an important lesson for true value investors to remember.

Why #Pricing Matters

With Twitter’s stock closing at $44.9 on Thursday, the San Francisco-based company now has a market capitalization of about $25 billion. Some analysts, however, have estimated Twitter’s valuation to be closer to $31.7 billion, taking into account options, warrants and restricted stock. Using basic finance principles, this would put Twitter’s stock at 26-times its 2014 sales estimates – a blatant red flag that would lead any true value investor to run in the opposite direction.

And while many of you are likely not even considering buying a company like Twitter, the lesson behind the company’s wild fir

Symantec Corp. (SYMC) shares dropped 7% to $19.44 on heavy volume, after a brief halted at the closing bell, as the security software company fired Chief Executive Steve Bennett.

  • [By Michael Flannelly]

Nomura Securities analysts initiated coverage on Symantec Corporation (SYMC) early on Wednesday, giving the stock a “Neutral” rating because its upside is already priced into its current valuation.

The analysts see shares of SYMC reaching $29, which suggests a 14.6% upside to the stock’s Tuesday closing price of $25.30.

Nomura Securities analyst Frederick Grieb commented, “In the early innings of a classic turnaround story, but upside largely priced In. We initiate coverage of Symantec (SYMC) with a Neutral rating and a 12-month target price of $29. Symantec is a leading vender in the security and storage markets, but has struggled to grow market share post its 2005 acquisition of VERITAS. The company has faced competitive pressures in its core markets, with ‘freemium’ antivirus software pressuring the consumer business, while the storage business has been challenged by enterprise migration to Windows and Linux from Solaris and UNIX. Despite these headwinds, we are launching coverage of Symantec with a Neutral rating, as we believe management will be able to improve the business by increasing margins (perhaps to +33%) and longer-term organic growth through a combination of simplifying management structures and a better strategy to incentivize the sales force. However, gi ven the stocks 33% increase YTD, due in part to multiple expansion (P/E up 18% YTD), we believe much of the upside from this turnaround is already baked in. FY14E EPS starts at $1.2; FY15E EPS starts at $2.18.”

Symantec Corp shares were inactive during pre-market trading on Wednesday. The stock is up! 34.43% y! ear-to-date.

For some reason, certain companies can attract buyers no matter the circumstance. I would put Symantec (SYMC) in that category. Shares have gained nearly 20% this year even as Symantecs prospects deteriorated.

Best China Stocks To Watch For 2014

There's a catchy new acronym gaining traction in emerging markets, and it points to the next best investment opportunity in developing economic growth.

Four emerging markets - Mexico, Indonesia, Nigeria, and Turkey - make up the MINT economies. Like BRIC - Brazil, Russia, India, and China - before them, these four are expected to outpace the developed world over the coming years. According to Bloomberg, they've already doubled their economies since 2000.

Of those four, one is a clear leader: Mexico.

Mexico's economy has grown 50% since 2004. The growth stems from two factors: China, and automobiles.

Over the last several years, manufacturing wages in China have been rising relative to those in the United States and Mexico. This has led to more "nearshoring" - companies moving production from Asia to the Americas. Late last year, the seesaw tipped, and China's average manufacturing wages surpassed Mexico's, according to The Wall Street Journal.

What the company is doing is transforming itself into a global resources company as opposed to a copper-focused global mining company. This is a similar model to the one espoused by BHP Billiton (NYSE: BHP  ) . Not only does the Anglo-Australian giant have major mining operations, including the world's largest copper mine Escondida, but it has global gas and oil operations as well. This has made the company's profits less sensitive to the price movement of any one commodity. For example, a 10-cent-per-pound move in copper has a $200 million impact to BHP's net profit after taxes. That same move in copper prices has a $275 million impact to Freeport's operating cash flow, which is on a smaller base.

Finding Value in an Investment Management Firm

Using GuruFocus' Ben Graham Net-Net screener, I found a list of companies that could adhere to Ben Graham's stringent rules for businesses he would potentially add to his portfolio. I then excluded OTC stocks in order to find companies within a liquid market. Next, I sorted each company by operating cash flow per share in order to find companies that are generating a healthy amount of cash and can pay a dividend. This stock was at the top of the list.

Business Description

Manning and Napier Inc. (MN) is an investment management firm involved in providing financial solutions for individual and institutional clients. Since 1970, MN has been offering portfolios with different asset classes, such as equity and fixed income, to clients with various accounts including seperately managed accounts, 401(k) plans, pension plans, endowments, and even foundations. For these services, clients pay a fee, and this is the way MN generates revenue.

What Matters Most: Cash Money

Before we talk about the company's cash holdings and ratios, I think it's important to talk about its debt. What makes this company stand out is the fact that it has no debt on its balance sheet. This means that the company could potentially give a higher dividend to investors or reinvest their cash to grow the business even further. They do have a line of credit, but this hasn't caused any significant financial hardship when paying off whatever is borrowed. MN has $125 million in cash, which is a great sign. Their current ratio is 3.17, which is amazing since MN can pay off everything it will owe this year more than three times over. Free cash flow is $166 million, or $12.10 per share, which shows that this company generates a substantial amount of cash. With a P/FCF of 1.46, this company is definitely under my criteria for investing in companies with a P/FCF ratio of 15 or less, and may purchase shares of MN.

Dividends - The privilege of ownership

I like to invest in companies that pay a dividend in order to reduce my risk, earn a return on my capital invested, and reinvest those dividend payments into a snowball of dividend checks. Although I am not currently investing in MN, it could become a holding in my portfolio if the dividend stream is worth paying for, and I think investors should have the same outlook when looking for potential investments. MN currently has a dividend yield of 4%; they pay $0.16 quarterly, totaling $0.64 a year. The payout ratio when compared to earnings is 313%, which would be very alarming. Dividends are paid out through cash, so I like to use free cash flow per share instead of earnings when calculating the payout ratio. When compared with free cash flow, the payout ratio is just 5%, which tells me that the company is generating enough cash to significantly increase its dividend payments. I like to do some calculations to see how long it would take one share of a company's dividend payments to equal another share, if prices remained the same and dividend payments were held for the sole purpose of buying one more share, with no compunding. It would take 25 years for one share to become two MN shares with the current level of dividend payments. I also like to calculate how many shares an investor would need to buy now in order to generate the equivalent of one share in dividend payments a year, all else being equal. Its interesting to note that if an investor wanted to generate the cash in dividend payments for one share this year, it is equal to the amount of time it would take for one share to double from its dividend yield. Buying 25 shares would result in an extra share at the end of the year, generated by passive dividend income.

Book Value - Real Company Value

MN's P/B ratio is 1.3, meaning it is priced almost one and a third times its actual value. I personally like to invest in companies with a P/B ratio of 2 or less, and in some cases I'll invest in companies with a higher P/B if the income stream of dividends is worth paying more for it. This is a good sign and a potential buy signal, considering its dividend income stream. Its really dificult to find companies trading at or below book value, so this is a major plus.

Income - How well a company is managed

I normally don't like to rely on the income statement as a measure of value. I do think it offers the best glimpse of how well a company is able to manage it's expenses while generating revenue, but I'll rely more on the cash flow statement to find value. The P/E ratio is 74.3. Most people invest in companies that have a P/E ratio between 15 and 25, while companies with a P/E ratio of 20 are seen as fairly valued. Honestly, I don't care too much about P/E ratios, but it can help me gauge whether or not I can pass up on a company that is priced too high, and look for other companies. A P/E ratio of 74.3 does set off alarm bells, and could be a sign that the company isn't able to manage its expenses. With a margin of 100%, and operating margin of 22.5% and a n

Top 10 Income Stocks To Buy For 2014

The vast majority of financial literature is concerned with when to buy a stock and how to get a deal. The assumption seems to be that the time to sell is self-explanatory. The truth is that selling is just as important and intensive an operation as buying. In this article, we will look at the main points you should consider when selling an investment.

Reasons to Sell
In general, investors want to offset gains until they can realize them in a lower tax bracket. When you are at your earning prime, for example, investing income will be taxed more stringently than when you are retired. Consequently, there are only a few reasons to sell before that time.

The most common reason is to adjust your portfolio. There are many reasons that a portfolio might become unbalanced or inappropriate for your investing goals. This might be a lifestyle change like marriage, divorce, retirement, the birth of a child or merely an accidental concentration of capital in one sector.

    Tuesday's Range: $1.83-$1.89

    52-Week Range: $1.42-$4.51

    Tuesday's Volume: 2.61 million

    Three-Month Average Volume: 4.32 million

From a technical perspective, OIBR rose modestly higher here right above its 50-day moving average of $1.72 with lighter-than-average volume. This stock has been uptrending strong for the last few weeks, with shares moving higher from its low of $1.42 to its intraday high of $1.89. During that move, shares of OIBR have been consistently making higher lows and higher highs, which is bullish technical price action. That move is quickly pushing shares of OIBR within range of triggering a near-term breakout trade. That trade will hit if OIBR manages to take out some near-term overhead resistance levels at $1.89 to $2.04 with high volume.

Traders should now look for long-biased trades in OIBR as long as it's trending above its 50-day at $1.72 or above more support at $1.60 and then once it sustains a move or close above those breakout levels with volume that's near or above 4.32 million shares. If that breakout hits soon, then OIBR will set up to re-test or possibly take out its next major overhead resistance levels at $2.25 to $2.29. Any high-volume move above those levels will then give OIBR a chance to tag $2.50 to $2.75.

Any high-volume move above those levels will then give OIBR a chance to tag its 50-day moving average of $1.18 to more resistance at $1.27.

Revenue is declining across the country as more supply is added to the market, and the only way to grow is through acquisitions. The Fool's Erin Miller sat down with Travis Hoium to see how to play the gaming market now.
