Three short ETFs are designed to profit from Chinas economic downward slide. The ProShares Short FTSE China 25 (YXI), an unleveraged ETF, holds shares in iShares FTSE China Large-Cap (FXI) swaps. Investors looking to magnify their returns can choose from two leveraged short ETFs: ProShares Ultra Short FTSE China 25 (FXP) and Direxion Daily China Bear 3x Shares (YANG). Both ProShares Ultra Short and Direxion Daily hold shares that increase in value three times faster than an unleveraged ETF. The downside is that the per share price of these leveraged ETFs also drops three times faster.

Capitalize on Surging Aluminum Demand Without the Commodity Risk

Constellium (NYSE: CSTM  ) is a downstream aluminum producer engaged in the design, manufacture, and sale of specialty rolled and extruded aluminum products. The Netherlands-based company, which offers its products primarily to the aerospace, automotive, and packaging industries, is a world leader in the manufacturing of high-quality aluminum products and solutions.

Aluminum demand is expected to be strong in 2014. Top U.S. aluminum producer Alcoa (NYSE: AA  )  expects global demand growth of 7% and is projecting a deficit of 730,000 tons for the year. Alcoa expects the aerospace market to register the strongest growth in demand, followed by automotive.

Constellium is making investments to meet demand in these sectors. The company offers investors one of the better ways to gain exposure to these fast-growing aluminum markets without the commodity risk.

Aerospace market
With backlogs at aircraft original equipment manufacturers, or OEMs, such as Boeing (NYSE: BA  ) and Airbus (NASDAQOTH: EADSY  ) at all-time highs, and with aluminum taking share on aircraft design, Constellium remains confident about the future of its aircraft business. Moreover, with 90% of this business under long-term contract, Constellium has a fair degree of insulation from economic uncertainty.

Source: Company documents.

Robust demand for both large commercial aircraft and regional jets, along with continued growth in the business jet market, is driving strong aluminum demand in the aerospace sector. Constellium is the market leader in aerospace plate worldwide and is looking to continue to take share.

Constellium expects total airplane deliveries to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 8% from 2012-2017. The company remains confident that its high-margin Airware technology will help it grow market share. Compared to traditional solutions, Airware generates higher EBITDA per ton and commands longer contracts with aircraft OEMs. The Dutch company argues that its technology is several years ahead of competitive offerings.

Airware has already taken share from aluminum on current aircraft production, as demonstrated by the increase in contracted business for the product over the past 12 months. While the company is investing in capacity to meet contracted need, the demand could grow further over time.

Airware is gaining contractors' attention due to its relatively lower density/weight advantage of 5% and superior corrosion resistance compared to traditional aluminum. Over the longer term, a redesign of planes using Airware could achieve weight savings of 25%. This is a significant opportunity for Constellium, as Airware is a higher-margin product, and the company is investing 70 million euros in casting capacity.

Source: Company Documents.

Automotive market
Constellium is also positioned to benefit from growing aluminum demand in the automotive market. The company forecasts the global aluminum body-in-white, or BIW, market to grow at 45% CAGR from 2012-2015 and 14% CAGR from 2015-2020.

Constellium expects the aluminum body structure market to grow at 10% per annum from 2015-2020, and the aluminum crash management system, or CMS, market to grow at 5% per annum over the same period. Automotive will be the fastest-growing market for Constellium, rising at 18% over the medium term.

Source: Company Documents.

The company is already investing to expand capacity and meet additional demand, including 200 million euros in Europe and additional capital in the U.S. to expand BIW capacity. To supply BIW sheet in North America, Constellium has entered into a joint venture with Japan's UACJ to build a BIW mill at Bowling Green, Ky., for a combined cost of $150 million. The facility will have an initial target capacity of 100,000 tons.

Source: Company Documents.

Packaging market
While the company's packaging business is not as exciting as aerospace and automotive, it remains an important base load and a generator of free cash flow even through economic ups and downs. Constellium has no plans to exit the business, despite its relatively lower margins.

Source: Company Documents.

Moreover, there are still significant growth opportunities in the international markets, particularly Europe. Unlike the U.S., many parts of the world are still meaningfully transitioning toward a purely aluminum can market. Constellium forecasts the European beverage market transitioning from roughly 78% aluminum today to 85% in 2016. The company currently has a 36% market share; it is well positioned to leverage a projected European can stock consumption increase to 955,000 tons in 2017 from 866,000 tons in 2012.

Source: Company Documents.

Foolish wrap-up
Constellium offers investors exposure to growing aerospace and automotive markets without the commodity risk. The company remains strongly positioned to benefit from growing aluminum demand in these markets and increased market penetration of its Airware product. While the packaging segment provides earnings visibility, it also has growth opportunities in the international markets, particularly Europe.

Advisors' Opinion:
  • [By Bryan Murphy]

So far the brewing recovery effort from IceWEB, Inc. (OTCBB:IWEB) has remained off most traders' radars. That may be about to change, however. That's why you may want to go ahead and take a speculative plunge on IWEB now, on faith that the clues we're seeing now will indeed end up as they're suggesting.

What the Catch with Dephasium Corp? According to various disclosures, transactions of $2k, $2.5k, $3k, $4k, $7.5k, $12.5k and $15k have or will occur to mention Dephasium Corp in various investment newsletters. Dephasium Corp has been getting plenty of off and on attention for a couple of months now, but what been pretty strange is the company issuing a press release to announce that an unidentified third party, without the DPHS approval, has listed its shares on the Boerse Berlin Stock Exchange. The press release warned that this could be the first salvo in a ignificant naked shorting attack directed at the Companygiven that the Berlin exchange is one of few stock exchanges in the world that allows listing and trading of a company's stock without the consent or authorization of the company being listed in order to facilitate short-selling. A quick look at Dephasium Corp financials reveals no revenues; net losses of $10k (most recent reported quarter), $17k and $11k plus net income of $388k; and $51k to cover $9k in current liabilities at the end of March. In other words, Dephasium Corp isn making money but someone else is trying to make some from it.

IceWEB, Inc. (OTCBB: IWEB) Seems to Be Making Progress

Small cap IceWEB is a provider of Unified Data Storage appliances for cloud and virtual environments, as well as the highly secure, scalable IceBOXTM BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) Private Digital Cloud Solution. • [By Ashraf Eassa]

However, I expect that Intel is at risk of having a significant marketing problem trying to sell a dual core product into a world of quad core phones, even if the dual core part delivers better performance/watt. I further expect that from what is currently known about Bay Trail's GPU (4 EU Gen7 GPU), it is unlikely that -- unless Intel is either using Imagination's (IGNMF.PK) next generation PowerVR 6 or a beefed up Gen7 design for the "Merrifield" SoC -- it will be as competitive with the Snapdragon 800 on the GPU side of things, which could pose as an additional headwind to adoption. I also believe that the Q1 2014 launch curtails any hope that there will be a 14nm smartphone product launched in 2014 (although Mr. Krzanich's comments about "acceleration" could be a source of optimism here), which means that the company's process lead could ultimately prove to be ephemeral in this particular end market. Fortunately, product cycles in this space are short, so it may be okay to have Merrifield be reasonably short lived.

To say the past twelve months have been tough ones for Logitech International SA (NASDAQ:LOGI) might be an understatement. Shares have fallen from a high of $10.29 last September to a low of $6.24 in April of this year. Though LOGI hasn't traded lower than that since then, it's not like the stock's suggested it wants to stage a major recovery... unless maybe you look really, really close. Well, I did.

  • [By Brian O'Connell and Brian O'Connell]

You can be a video gamer, a PC user, or even a home entertainment watcher without using one of Logitech (NASDAQ: LOGI) products.

The company develops and markets hardware and software products that enable or enhance digital navigation, music and video entertainment, gaming, social networking, and audio and video communication over the Internet.

The company stock has risen by 16 percent so far this year. In January, Logitech announced etter than expectedsales of $628 million for the third quarter, up 2 percent on a year-over-year basis. Cash flow was way up, and earnings per share of $0.30 was up compared to a loss one year earlier.

The retail numbers tell the real story, with the company combined retail growth categories up 62 percent, year-over-year. Tablet peripheral salaries were up 95 percent; audio wearables and wireless sales were up 79 percent; and video gaming sales rose by 25 percent in the same time period.

Those are numbers that are manna from heaven for a company that really needed them, after a 30-month period of mediocre performance from 2010-to-mid-2013 that saw LOGU share price fall stagnate in the $8-$10-per-share range.

ee pleased by our solid Q3 performance, with both sales and profit growth, notes Bracken P. Darrell, Logitech chief executive officer. ee encouraged by the robust sales in our growth categories, as well as the success of our ongoing initiatives to improve profitability.”

e still have more work ahead, but our turnaround is on track as we continue to build a faster and more profitable Logitech,he adds.

Going forward, Logitech has upped its yearly outlook, calling for sales of $2.1 billion, up from $2 billion in its last outlook. Non-GAAP operating income should rise to $125 million, up from $100 million previously.

Why the continued optimism over Logitech, after two-and-half years of tepid performance?

Europe's order to mute Google angers U.S.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, California (AP) — Europe's moves to rein in Google — including a court ruling this month ordering the search giant to give people a say in what pops up when someone searches their name — may be seen in Brussels as striking a blow for the little guy.

But across the Atlantic, the idea that users should be able to edit Google search results in the name of privacy is being slammed as weird and difficult to enforce at best and a crackdown on free speech at worst.

"Americans will find their searches bowdlerized by prissy European sensibilities," said Stewart Baker, former assistant secretary for policy at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. "We'll be the big losers. The big winners will be French ministers who want the right to have their last mistress forgotten."

Mountain View, Calif.-based Google says it's still figuring out how to comply with the European Court of Justice's May 13 ruling, which says the company must respond to complaints about private information that turns up in searches. Google must then decide whether the public's right to be able to find the information outweighs an individual's right to control it — with preference given to the individual.

The judgment applies to all search engines operating within the European Union. But in practice that means Google, given that 90% of all online searches there use Google's search engine.

"The ruling has significant implications for how we handle takedown requests," Google spokesman Al Verney said. "This is logistically complicated, not least because of the many languages involved and the need for careful review. As soon as we have thought through exactly how this will work, which may take several weeks, we will let our users know."

There will be serious technological challenges, said U.S. privacy attorney David Keating in Atlanta.

"It seems aspirational, not a reality, to comply with such a standard," he said. "The reengineering necessary to implement the right to be forgotten is! significant."

Google may partially automate the process, as it does with copyright-infringement complaints, but ultimately a human will have to decide when results should be sanitized.

Johannes Caspar, who as Hamburg's Commissioner for Data Protection acts as Germany's lead regulator of Google on privacy issues, confirmed the company is already working on an "online tool" to help people file complaints.

Because the court's ruling applies only within Europe, it will mean some fragmentation of search results. That is, Europeans and Americans will see slightly different versions of the Internet. A worst-case scenario would be if Google decides it must err on the side of caution and removes links liberally in order to avoid lawsuits, critics of the ruling said.

Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales, who has been an outspoken critic of the ruling, summarized it for The Associated Press as a "technologically incompetent violation of human rights." He said it amounts to censorship, and he predicted it will ultimately be scrapped.

"The danger is that search engines now are faced with an uncertain legal future which may require them to censor all kinds of things when someone thinks it is 'irrelevant'," Wales said.

In the wake of the decision, some Europeans are already asking to clean up their online history, though there may not yet have been a "flood" of hundreds of requests, including some from pedophiles and politicians, as was reported in the British press shortly after the ruling was handed down.

In Britain, David Murphy of the Information Commissioner's Office said "while we've had some people get in touch around this issue, we're simply telling them to speak to Google."

Officials in the Netherlands said they haven't had any new requests since the ruling.

Caspar, the German official, said his office has received 20 new requests, including some from people who won legal fights with websites to have material taken down — but the sites didn't comply because th! ey were b! ased abroad.

Differences between the U.S. and Europe over privacy have never been greater, sparked by revelations in documents leaked to the media by former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden that the NSA secretly broke into communications on Yahoo and Google abroad and targeted overseas telecoms, including German Chancellor Angela Merkel's own cellphone.

Joel Reidenberg, visiting professor of information technology policy at Princeton University, said the ruling was not surprising, "given the current tenor of US-European privacy relations as a result of the Snowden revelations."

A "fundamental divide" between the European and American worldview is becoming evident, he said.

10 Best Up And Coming Stocks To Own Right Now

"In Europe, there is a sense that privacy and control over personal data are basic human rights," he said. In America, freedom of speech and free-market solutions tend to prevail, he said.

Nico Sell, who runs San Francisco-based Wickr, an encrypted messaging service, said it would make more sense to let individuals, not tech giants, control their own online presence.

"The right to be forgotten is a great idea philosophically, but it is wrong to put the onus on Google or Facebook," she said. "They have no idea where all your data is, and this is not their job. We need to give consumers tools with the ability to add expiration dates to their personal data."

Buying a Home: You Will Always Need a Real Estate Agent

The Internet has changed countless industries, and many people think real estate agents are about to become obsolete as consumers have more information at their disposal. Spencer Rascoff, CEO of Zillow (NASDAQ: Z  ) , disagrees.

In the following video, Motley Fool analyst Brendan Byrnes sits down with Rascoff to discuss the changing real estate landscape. Unlike the travel agent model which was drastically changed because of the Internet, Rascoff believes most Americans will always use a real estate agent to assist them when purchasing a home. Rascoff highlights how a real estate transaction is complicated, emotional, expensive, and infrequent -- all characteristics that lend themselves to an intermediary.

What Rascoff does believe is changing is the type of real estate agent that is going to succeed in this new information-era. He says a good agent in today's market has to be an expert negotiator and a great marketer. He also highlights the importance of having a deep, local expertise because agents and consumers all have the same information due mobile devices and the Internet.

GM recalls another 2.4M for belts, bags, more

General Motors is recalling a total of 2.42 million vehicles in four separate action to fix safety flaws.

The total nearly matches the 2.6 million cars GM recalled in three stages earlier this year for a deadly ignition switch flaw. The biggest recent recall day, however, was last Thursday, when GM announced five recalls that totaled 3 million vehicles.

GM also said it now plans to take a $400 million charge against second-quarter earnings for the costs of recalls — double the $200 million it had forecast after the five recalls last week.

The automaker took a $1.3 billion charge the first quarter for recalls, almost wiping out its earnings.

GM says the new recalls are part of its "continuing effort to quickly address emerging safety issues."

The government fined GM the maximum $35 million last week for dragging its feet on the ignition switch defect — spotted within GM in 2001 but not recalled until this year.

By GM's count, its "house cleaning" has resulted in 29 recalls in the U.S. so far this year, including Tuesday's. Two involve fewer than 100 vehicles.

GM links 18 crashes and one injury to one of the problems in the latest recall, but no fatalities. The ignition switch fault is linked to 12 deaths in 46 accidents that involved injury or death in the U.S. and one fatal crash in Canada.

The vehicles involved, and their defects:

Front safety lap belt cables can wear out due to people moving around while wearing the belts. GM told dealers they can't sell new or used versions of the vehicles until they are repaired.1,075,102 vehicles were added to an April 29 recall to fix a transmission shift indicator cable that can wear and fail to indicate the correct gear. Added in this action: 2004-08 Chevrolet Malibu and Maxx, 2007-08 Saturn Aura, 2005-08 Pontiac G6. This fault is the one linked to the 18 crash! es and one injury.58 Chevrolet Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD full-size pickups from the 2015 model year because loose electrical connections in the engine compartment could cause a fire.1,402 Cadillac Escalades and Escalade ESVs from the 2015 model year because a flaw in how the passenger-side front air bag is connected to the dashboard could cause the bag to inflate improperly in a crash. Why Best Buy Shares Are Plunging Today

NEW YORK (TheStreet) - Best Buy (BBY) shares were sinking 5.7% to $23.91 early Thursday after the electronics retailer warned that same-store sales would be lower in its fiscal second and third quarters, as consumers pull back on purchasing electronics and also await new mobile phone product launches, namely from Apple (AAPL), which is rumored to be launching its latest iPhone model in August.

"As we look forward to the second and third quarters, we are expecting to seeongoing industry-wide sales declines in many of the consumer electronics categories in which we compete," Best Buy CFO Sharon McCollam said in this morning's earnings release. "We are also expecting ongoing softness in the mobile phone category as consumers eagerly await highly-anticipated new product launches. Consequently, absent any major product launches, we are expecting comparable sales to be negative in the low-single digits in both the second and third quarters."

Best Buy said that comparable sales in its fiscal 2015 first quarter fell 1.9% overall, compared to expectations of 0.8% decline. In its domestic segment comps declined 1.3%, offset by a 29.2% increase in comparable online sales, it said. Total revenue fell 3.3% in the May 3-ending quarter to $9.035 billion, also missing analysts' expectations.

On a GAAP basis, Best Buy reported earnings from continuing operations of $1.31 a share. Non-GAAP diluted earnings from continuing operations were 33 cents a share compared to 32 cents a share in the year-earlier quarter and consensus expectations of 30 cents a share, according to Thomson Reuters. Best Buy is holding a conference call at 8 am ET to discuss the results. --Written by Laurie Kulikowski in New York. Lowe's earnings rise but miss estimates

Lowe's reported a rise in profit and sales Wednesday despite a challenging retail environment following the prolonged winter weather.

The home improvement retailer said it earned $624 million, or 61 cents per share, in the first quarter ended May 2. That was up from $540 million, or 49 cents per share, from the same period a year ago.

Excluding certain items, earnings were 58 cents per share. Analysts were expecting 60 cents a share, according to FactSet.

Sales rose 2.4% to $13.40 billion, up from $13.09 billion, a year earlier. The results fell short of estimates of $13.89 billion.

The retailer said it saw improved results in May and raised its full-year earnings forecast.

"Performance has improved in May which, together with our strengthening execution, gives us the confidence to reaffirm our sales and operating profit outlook for the year," Lowe's CEO Robert A. Niblock said in a statement.

Lowe's forecasts earnings of about $2.63 per share for the fiscal year.

Shares rose more than 2% in pre-market trading to $46.50.

It's a 401(k), Not a Piggy Bank ... So Don't Treat It Like One

Photographed: March 17, 2005 42-16786525broken piggy bank pink money penny pennies breaking the bank break brokecheap inexpens Getty Images One of the joys we have as parents is teaching our three kids about money. With the oldest being just 6, a big part of that revolves around her piggy bank. Whenever she gets a small amount of money, it goes in there, and we talk with her about the importance of saving, giving, and having some to spend on things she wants, which is usually along the lines of a gumball. With a piggy bank, you put money in and take it out. It's a fairly simple tool, and it's great for what it's used for. A 401(k), on the other hand, is a great tool to save for retirement. But increasingly, 401(k)s are being used as something they aren't -– piggy banks. Startling Statistics Recent studies show that Americans are increasingly pilfering from their 401(k) accounts. With the economy being the way it has been since the financial crisis, that's understandable on one level, but the choice can put your retirement plans on a slippery slope. According to the IRS, $57 billion was withdrawn prematurely from 401(k) accounts in 2011 -- up 37 percent in inflation-adjusted dollars from 2003. You could argue that if a person needed the money to survive, then an early withdrawal from a 401(k), even with the tax penalty, is better than other options. That would be right -- to a point. The most disconcerting number, in my opinion, is that younger individuals are withdrawing the most. According to a Fidelity (FNF) study, nearly 40 percent of workers between 20 and 39 are cashing out their 401(k) plans when they change jobs. There could be many reasons for this, but the Fidelity study points out that many don't see the need to roll over their old 401(k)s when the amount being considered is "only" several thousand dollars or a little more. Add that to those people who take out 401(k) loans to fund such things as real estate purchases, and it paints a worrisome picture. The Real Purpose of a 401(k) To a degree that it hasn't for decades, the burden of retirement planning now falls on individuals. Only about 30 percent of companies still provide pensions, and even among those, more firms are freezing them. In light of that, your 401(k), with its tax-advantaged status, is likely going to be one of your best options for putting aside money for retirement. While there may be times where you need to take out loans for different purposes, simply cashing out a 401(k) should be avoided at all possible. This is especially the case if you switch jobs: When that happens, you will want to either roll over your 401(k) into your new plan or into a rollover IRA. Not only will this allow you to avoid losing money due to early withdrawal penalties, but it will also keep the power of compound growth on your side as you build up your retirement nest egg. Saving for Retirement Is a Long Game The rise in early 401(k) withdrawals reveals a broad lack of understanding about retirement planning. Saving for your old age is is a marathon, not a sprint -- one that takes decades to complete. By raiding your 401(k), you're only harming your future. Unless you plan on working until you're 80, it behooves you to leave your savings untouched so you can reach retirement relatively close to when you plan to. When we're talking about amounts under $10,000, it can be easy to think that they'll mean nothing in the long run. But if you invest it wisely and let it stay in the market long-term, it can build on itself to and turn into serious money each month for you in retirement. (Don't believe it? Check out the first two slides in this article. The math is clear: Small Money + Time to Compound = Big Money) Part of saving for retirement is making sure we're doing what's best with our 401(k) funds. If you're tempted to withdraw money from it early, ask yourself if raiding your savings now is the best decision for your long-term wealth. In most cases, it's not.

Warning signs flash for junk-bond investors

NEW YORK — Junk bonds have been strong investments since the recession, and investors continue to pile into the market. But fund managers say they're looking less attractive. Many are taking a step back and urging investors at least to temper their expectations.

The big run for junk bonds came as investors clamored for better interest rates. The Federal Reserve has helped keep interest rates low, which gives the economy a boost but also limits the interest income generated by bonds. To make up for that, investors have turned to bonds from companies with lower credit ratings that carry a higher risk of default.

Junk bonds are also called high-yield bonds because they have to pay higher interest rates to make up for their increased risk. Demand has been so strong that the price of junk bonds has jumped significantly. That's making many investors question if their yields are still attractive.

"High-yield (bonds look) pretty pricey," says Kris Kowal, a managing director who oversees $10 billion in investments at DuPont Capital Management. Junk bond yields are close to 5%, down from greater than 20% during the financial crisis of 2008. "Do you want to lend money to some of these high-yield companies at 5%? I don't know."

As investments in Kowal's junk-bond portfolio mature, he's moving much of the money to other parts of the bond market.

To be sure, last year many fund managers also called for caution, yet junk-bond funds delivered more gains. The average high-yield bond mutual fund returned 5.5% over the last 12 months, making it the leader among the 32 types of bond funds that Morningstar tracks.

Bond-fund managers also say that junk bonds continue to look more attractive than other types of bonds. And defaults have not been a problem: The default rate was 1.7% last month, up slightly from 1.6% in March, which was its lowest level since the financial crisis.

"We still like high-yield relative to other sectors," says Matt Pallai, portfolio manager at the JPMorgan M! ulti-Sector Income fund. "Prices are just very high. There's not a lot of room for error."

With prices so high and volatility low, Pallai says the junk-bond market could quickly turn jumpy if confronted with any surprises. That's one reason his fund has cut the amount it has in junk bonds over the last couple months.

Junk bonds are down to 40% of the portfolio from 50%, and most of the money that the fund has pulled from high-yield bonds has gone into cash.

Among the warning signs that are flashing for high-yield bonds:

• Investors are earning less of a premium over safer bonds.

When considering a bond, investors don't look at just its yield. They also check how its yield measures up to a Treasury bond maturing around the same time.

Junk bonds have recently offered about 3.7 percentage points more in yield than similar Treasurys. That's lower than the average difference of 4.3 percentage points over the last 12 months. Over the last five years, the average spread has been 6 percentage points.

That means investors are getting paid less of a premium to take on the added risk of default that a junk bond carries.

• Protections for investors are weaker.

When companies issue bonds, they agree to certain restrictions with investors. These restrictions, which lawyers call covenants, can put a cap on how much debt a company can take on, for example.

Since 2011, Moody's has been keeping a monthly tally of how strong the protections are for investors who buy bonds issued by junk-rated companies. The rise in demand for junk bonds means that companies with low credit ratings have generally faced more lax restrictions when borrowing money.

Moody's measure of covenant quality fell to a record low in February, though it has improved a shade since then.

Despite the increased warning signs, investors continue to pour into junk bonds. High-yield bond mutual funds took in a net $5.3 billion through the first four months of this year. That's more th! an triple! the $1.5 billion investors put into intermediate-term bond funds, the largest bond-fund category with triple the assets of junk-bond funds.

In coming years, those investors can likely expect lower returns than high-yield bonds have offered. Over the last five years, high-yield bond mutual funds have posted an average annual return of 13.6%. Looking ahead, a more fair expectation is closer to the current yield that the bonds offer, say 5%, according to managers.

Investors should also keep in mind that junk bonds can have sharp swings due to their increased risk. In 2008, for example, the average high-yield mutual fund lost 26.4%, compared with a 4.7% drop for intermediate-term bond funds.
